My Story

Maria lost her mother (caretaker) last year (in 2024), and she had irregular school attendance due to school fees challenges, and lack of personal and school requirements. Upon the death of their mother, they were left with their elder sister (seven siblings), who runs a small tailoring shop in a sub-parish in Kalungu district. Maria is living a traumatized life as her sister can no longer support them exposing her to high chances of dropping out of school.
