My Story

Maria lost her mother (caretaker) in 2024, and she had irregular school attendance. Upon the death of their mother, they were left with their elder sister (seven siblings), who runs a small tailoring shop in a sub-parish in Kalungu district. Maria is living a traumatized life as her sister can no longer support them exposing her to high chances of dropping out of school. Sponsorship can make her feel secure and give her some hope for her future. She is likely to go to a technical institute after finishing Mustard Seed Secondary, O-levels.
